Who are the Knights of Columbus?
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's
fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial
aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are
offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families.
Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and
their families through educational, charitable, religious,
social welfare, war relief and public relief works.
Who is council 13341?
We are 169 men from the parish of
Our Lady of the Angels, Catholic Community in Bradenton,
Florida. In 2009 our parish will be celebrating a 10 year
anniversary. However, being a
young council by no way means we are lacking of activities.
We have Fish Frys,
a Tootsie Roll drive, we work at Habitat for Humanity, we have
blood drives and we work at the Cincinnati Reds
Spring Training games in Sarasota.

Brothers,
A new fraternal year has started and we are coming off of a very
successful year of fund raising that enables us to carry out our
Council’s programs and activities that support our church,
Catholic youth and community.
The continued success of our Council is
dependent upon the participation of our Brother Knights. We know
that work and family matters take precedence in the daily lives
of many of our Brothers, but, please do your best to participate
in as many of our
activities as you possibly can. You and your family members have
already made this Council one of the most active and successful
in the state of Florida.
While on the subject of success, we have been blessed to have
Reverend Daniel Smith as new
Administrator of Our Lady of the Angels and Chaplain of our
Council.
